The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia are going to work on a joint cryptocurrency project. Emirate News Agency, UAE’s official news agency reported that the two countries had announced their agreement to cooperate on cryptocurrency creation on January 19.
Sixteen members in total from both countries have attended the meeting to discuss the joint initiatives in the Strategy Resolve. The meeting was held at the UAE capital Abu Dhabi by the Executive Committee of the Saudi-Emirati Coordination Council.
The Strategy Resolve is made up of seven initiatives. Some of these initiatives are the development of a cross-border digital currency, civil aviation, and financial awareness youth training.
